1. Who we areThis website, CalculatorCast, is operated by its owner ("we", "us"). It offers free online calculators and converters. You can reach us through the Contact page. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site, why, for how long, and what choices you have.2. Information we processStrictly necessary (always)

• A session cookie and an XSRF-TOKEN cookie that keep forms (for example the contact form and calculator requests) secure and working. They contain random identifiers and expire when you close the browser or after a short time.
• A consent cookie (calchub_consent, 180 days) that remembers the choices you make in the privacy banner.
• Local storage on your device: your theme (light/dark), favourite calculators and recently viewed calculators. This stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Usage statistics (only if you accept "Analytics")If you accept analytics we record, for each visit: the pages and calculators you use, the time of each page view and how long the visit lasts, the page you came from (website address only, no search words), your device type, browser and operating system (from your user agent), screen size, language and time zone, and your IP address. A random visit identifier is kept in your browser's session storage for the length of the tab session — no cookie is set for this. The approximate country is taken from information our network provider (CDN) already attaches to the request; your IP address is not sent to any additional service for this. We do not collect precise or GPS location.Visits from bots, search-engine crawlers and the site's own administrators are not recorded. Your IP address is shortened after 30 days (the last part is replaced by zero) and the detailed records are deleted after 90 days; only anonymous daily totals (for example "120 visits from Canada") are kept longer. These statistics are not combined with any account, because the site has no visitor accounts. This is personal data in the legal sense, because an IP address can identify a connection, so we only process it with your consent.AdvertisingNo third-party advertising is currently active on this site.Information you send us

• Contact form: your name, email address and message, plus your IP address for spam protection. We use them only to answer you. The IP address is removed after 90 days; the message is kept for up to 730 days and then deleted.
• Calculator inputs are sent to our server to compute your result and are not stored — unless you press "Create shareable link": then the inputs and result are saved under a random, hard-to-guess web address for 30 days and are deleted a week after that. Anyone who has the link can open it. Shared pages are not indexed by search engines.

Server logsLike every web server, our hosting provider records technical request data (IP address, requested address, browser, time) in short-lived logs for security and reliability.3. We do not sell your personal information.5. Your choices and rightsYou can change your cookie choices at any time with Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent stops further processing; clearing your browser storage removes the data kept on your device. Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data-protection authority — contact us and we will respond. Because visit records are not linked to your identity, we may need details such as the approximate time of your visit to find them.6. ChildrenThe site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.8.
