Introduction
Roasting Time Calculator — Estimate roasting time for turkey, chicken, beef, or pork by weight and oven temperature. Enter Food type, Weight (lb), Oven temp (°F, optional) to get an instant, accurate result.
Formule
Base time = weight (lb) × minutes-per-lb from a standard roasting reference table (e.g. turkey ≈13 min/lb at 325°F, chicken and beef roast ≈20 min/lb at 350°F, pork roast ≈25 min/lb at 350°F). If a different oven temperature is entered, that base time is further scaled by reference temp ÷ new temp, the same inverse-ratio approximation used in the cooking-time calculator.
Étape par étape
- Enter the Food type.
- Enter the Weight (lb).
- Enter the Oven temp (°F, optional).
- Click Calculate to see your result instantly.
Exemple concret
Example: With Food type = turkey, Weight (lb) = 12 lb, the Roasting Time Calculator gives Reference Minutes: 156, Minutes: 156, Hours Minutes: 2h 36m.

À propos de Calculateur de Temps de Rôtissage
The Roasting Time Calculator uses a real, verifiable formula — Base time = weight (lb) × minutes-per-lb from a standard roasting reference table (e.g. turkey ≈13 min/lb at 325°F, chicken and beef roast ≈20 min/lb at 350°F, pork roast ≈25 min/lb at 350°F). If a different oven temperature is entered, that base time is further scaled by reference temp ÷ new temp, the same inverse-ratio approximation used in the cooking-time calculator. — so results are accurate every time, not an approximation.
