מבוא
Weight Calculator — Weight from mass and gravity, W = mg. Enter Mass (kg), Gravity (m/s²) to get an instant, accurate result.
נוסחה
Weight is calculated as W = m × g, where m is mass and g is the acceleration due to gravity (approximately 9.81 m/s² on Earth). Weight is technically a force, distinct from mass.
צעד אחר צעד
- Enter the Mass (kg).
- Enter the Gravity (m/s²).
- Click Calculate to see your result instantly.
דוגמה מהעולם האמיתי
Example: With Mass (kg) = 10, Gravity (m/s²) = 9.81, the Weight Calculator gives Weight N: 98.1.
שאלות נפוצות
Is weight the same as mass?
No. Mass measures the amount of matter in an object and stays constant, while weight is the gravitational force acting on that mass (W = mg) and changes depending on local gravity.
What value of gravity does this calculator use?
It uses Earth's standard gravitational acceleration, g = 9.81 m/s², which is the widely accepted average value at sea level.
How would my weight differ on the Moon?
Since the Moon's gravity is about 1.62 m/s² (roughly 1/6 of Earth's), your weight there would be about one-sixth of your weight on Earth, even though your mass stays the same.
What inputs does the Weight Calculator need?
You'll need to provide: Mass (kg), Gravity (m/s²). All fields use sensible defaults, so you can see a working example immediately and then adjust the values to match your own numbers.
How accurate is the Weight Calculator?
The Weight Calculator applies the formula exactly as calculated — Weight is calculated as W = m × g, where m is mass and g is the acceleration due to gravity (approximately 9.81 m/s² on Earth). Weight is technically a force, distinct from mass. — so results are precise for the inputs you provide. Accuracy depends on entering correct, realistic input values.
Is the Weight Calculator free to use?
Yes, the Weight Calculator is completely free, requires no signup, and runs instantly in your browser.
אודות מחשבון משקל
The Weight Calculator uses a real, verifiable formula — Weight is calculated as W = m × g, where m is mass and g is the acceleration due to gravity (approximately 9.81 m/s² on Earth). Weight is technically a force, distinct from mass. — so results are accurate every time, not an approximation.
